Loopy Fiasco? Come On Jay!
Anyway, Lupe performed on Leno the other night.
Lupe performed Paris, Tokyo with a live band. Sounded absolutely amazing. One of my favorite tracks off of "The Cool", which is his newest album that I can't get enough of. The thing that really appeals to me about this performance is the different flow he spits with the live band. The song on the album is real relaxing and soothing. It comes off to me as a dream that I feel like I will never love. Just a careless ,laid back theme over the track. More often than not when begin performed live and especially with a live behind the vibe for certain songs gets sacrificed. Not here. Although the lyrics and vibe is the same the overall song is rather different, aside from the lyrics.
Two thumbs up.

I agree. I think I've become spoiled because every song sounds better with the band to me now. Oh and did you see the whole show? Jay said Lupe at the beginning and Loopy later.
