Sneakerology 101

Who would have thought? An entire semester on sneakers wow, someone pinch me.  When will NCC add this class to the curriculum?

Pennsylvania's Carnegie Mellon University has added a class that is an introductory into the sneaker culture. the course is simply titled Sneakerology 101. 

The course starts off with topics such as the ranging routes of sneakers in the late 70s and continues on to explain things such as the shape it has now taken with the impact of hip hop. Other details of the course go into the internet influence, basketball factors and the overall impact the sneaker culture has had worldwide.  One of the biggest references in the class is Bobbittio Garcia's book 'Where Did You Get Those'. 

Evaluations of students include projects about sneaker design and a mid term,

Now I shall look for some sort of online course.

Hybird jordan Bag

Taking the hybrid thing to a new level, Jordan Brand has created this Frankenstein bag incorporating highlights from models including the AJVI, AJ VII, AJ XII, AJ XIII and AJ XVII.

 A realistic looking sole can be seen representing the base of the bag with various highlights through out. Not the first time the Jordan Brand has incorporated actual footwear into a bag, previously using the Air Jordan III as the theme behind a bag designed by Michael Ditullo.

Purple Haze vs. SFFD

I haven't seen this much schlacking since my pancake incident.

what a game by the Purple Hazers. An unusually high scoring game by them and a great game by Haze goalie, Paulie aka "The Big Ragu". The final score was 8-2 in favor of the Hazers.

It started out early with an early goal by your truly and took off from there. The Haze put together an incredible first period with 5 goals.

The game slowed down from that point as the Haze let up on the opposition. 

This is effort by the boy in Purple as the come down the homes stretch. With 1 game left in the regular season we ,just keep up the incredible effort and especially the teamwork as we head into the playoffs.

We wont be the favorite and I chose us to upset when playoffs hit.

Next Sunday the Haze square up against the Killers Bees in the season finally. Hopefully they can pull this win off and head into the playoffs with a full head of steam.
