One of the most anticipated Reebok dual label sneaker projects is set for release on May 31st at Bodega(6 clearway St./Boston).

Designed by Bodega, the Escape Pack was inspired by the renegade, borderline legal, semi-dangerous, insanely cheap, revolutionary, independently run bus lines that link Boston's Chinatown to NYCs Chinatown.

Retailing for $200(USD), the pack includes everything you need to escape to another city for an overnight excursion. An exquisitely designed Reebok Omni Pump Lite is the centerpiece of the project featuring a luminous jade and charcoal color-way detailed with a map of the route embossed on the ankle collar. A matching 5-panel cap by "ELM" and tee are also included in the pack. Various essentials including, but not limited to, mix-tapes, rolling, papers, paint markers, and good luck charms round out the contents of this extremely limited release. Only 100 Escape packs have been produced. Within ONE of the packs is a GOLDEN TICKET upgrade. The lucky winner of the upgrade will get airfare to anywhere in the continental US, as well as a suitcase filled with past limited releases from Reebok.

Although it has been a while since we have seen a White/Gum Nike air Force 1, this straight classic Summer combination is on the new "White/Gum" Nike Blazer High. As the nickname says, the "White/Gum" Nike Blazer High has a White Leather upper sitting on a Gum bottom.To me gum bottom cna really set the tone for any sneaker and usually makes them look 1000 times better. The White leather upper has a perforated toe box. The heal tab on these Blazers has a green Patten with a Purple Nike embroidery.

Apparently part of the latest Euro Champ Pack of sneakers from Nike inspired by a bunch of soccer nations, this Dunk High draws reference to the infamous Brazilian soccer team in their iconic yellow/green colorway. But obvious geographical differences all but enures that Brazil won't be on hand for Euro 2008, co-hosted by Austria and Switzerland. This particular Brazilian inspired release seems like a suitable modern update to previous Brazil inpired Dunks seen in the past.

General releases are usually a hit or miss when it comes to sneakerheads. In some rare cases, it’s knocked out of the park and that’s what keeps us coming back for more. Recently released to all major athletic stores and e-tailers like Eastbay, the Nike Anthracite pack is just that. The simple color scheme alongside some detailed accents is eye catching in a modern but kind of old school way. The standout sneaker in this pack is by far the Blazer High in my opinion. This sneaker was recently seen on Jay-Z during a concert in California. The other two sneakers that make up this pack are the Air Max LTD and the Vandal Low.

The "Silver" Nike Air Max 90 has a completely Grey Leather/Metallic Silver upper with a mesh toebox and mesh ankle collar. Which makes this an excellent summer kick with the simplicty of the sneaker. You can also rock these anywhere with anything.The monotone upper sits on a White/Blue speckled midsole.Speckeled midsoles is something I have always been a sucker for. Nike recently released several Nike Air Force 1s featuring mesh in the mid panel. As part of this "Mesh" Pack, Nike recently released the "Mesh" Pack Nike Air Force 1 Low. The "Mesh" Pack Nike Air Force 1 Low features a predominantly Grey leather upper with a White toebox and Swoosh, a Black midsole, and a Red outsole. The mesh in the "Mesh Pack" comes in the form of a mesh White Mesh hit with a Black backing in the mid panel.

I have always like the different types on material on sneakers. Also, the fact that a few different subtle colors are involved is also something that I appreciate.

Originally seen back in February was an upcoming collaborative effort between Singaporean sneaker store Leftfoot, New Balance and famous sneaker customizers SBTG and Methamphibian. The duo set forth with the theme of "Heaven and Hell", an evolution of their initial plan of basing it on East (SBTG) meets West (Methamphibian). The two colors on the surface are distinguished by black and white, however upon further inspection, details come to life in a series of intricate highlights and exploration that pushes the realm of sneaker design. The article discusses the unique process behind the creation of this superior sports wear technology. We are also able to gain insight about the people who are behind the scenes. The key to excellent design in this case is taking the time to do things properly and "communication". The article is thus called "10AC Brainstorming". A key element of the garments are light-weight breathable fabrics, and "Dri Fit" fabric technology. This consists more or less of moisture expelling treatments and high breathability, keeping the body and clothes free of perspiration. The Spring/Summer '08 line was built around one theme color "Orange Blaze" and we can see this utilized on the windbreaker and pants, using an Orange that fades into white fumes.

This year, Nike is continuing their releases of canvas Nike Air Force 1 styles, but this time, its the Ladies' turn. To kick off their canvas WMNS AF1 releases, Nike recently released the "Lucky Green" Canvas Nike Air Force 1 Low. Like last year's releases, this year's releases feature a solid upper, in this case Lucky Green", a White Swoosh and a White midsole. First came the Dub Zero. Second, the Spiz'ike. A third time is no surprise from Jordan Brand. The latest hybrid from the Jordan camp is the 6 Rings model. This shoe is a clash of every sneaker His Airness wore while stacking up those Championship rings in the 90's for the Chicago Bulls, not to mention some of Designer Tinker Hatfield's best work. We can clearly see a mixture of the Jordan VI, VII, VIII and XI, XII, XIII. The first color way to release will be a Concord AJXI inspired masterpiece with another Black/Red (pictured) version in full production form set to release after. Now, my opinion, I have always been anti-Dub Zero,Spiz'ike and Packs. When I got into collecting, thats not what it was about. It was about classic kicks that were straight dope to me. I actually like these. Reasons why? I like how it keeps the OG feel. It looks like all of the Jordans that are involved.

First thing is first. I do not follow NCAA basketball in any way shape or form. I enjoy and appreciate the game to an excessive extent but I just simply do not have the time to follow so many teams and so many players.

The one time I do follow though for sure is when I can make some money off of it. NCAA March Madness pools are great. It gives me a routing interest into the game and makes it way more interesting to me.

On March 1st, Duke's college basketball coach Mike Krzyewski (a.k.a. Coach K) joined an elite legion of college basketball coaching greats as he entered the 800 win club. To commemorate this remarkable feat, Chi McBride and Nike's Innovative Kitchen were approached by Eric Lautenbach, head of NIKE college basketball to create a special 1 of 1 Air Force 1. The end project is a sneaker with no detail overlooked. The box itself is constructed of old basketball floor boards with the names of Coach K's parents, brother, wife and three daughters lasered into the box. The gray flannel and brass eyelet upper was inspired by the cadet uniform jackets worn by Coach K as a player under another legendary coach Bob Knight at Westpoint. A truly remarkable piece of footwear from Nike.

Who would have thought? An entire semester on sneakers wow, someone pinch me. When will NCC add this class to the curriculum?

Pennsylvania's Carnegie Mellon University has added a class that is an introductory into the sneaker culture. the course is simply titled Sneakerology 101.

The course starts off with topics such as the ranging routes of sneakers in the late 70s and continues on to explain things such as the shape it has now taken with the impact of hip hop. Other details of the course go into the internet influence, basketball factors and the overall impact the sneaker culture has had worldwide. One of the biggest references in the class is Bobbittio Garcia's book 'Where Did You Get Those'.

I haven't seen this much schlacking since my pancake incident.

what a game by the Purple Hazers. An unusually high scoring game by them and a great game by Haze goalie, Paulie aka "The Big Ragu". The final score was 8-2 in favor of the Hazers.

It started out early with an early goal by your truly and took off from there. The Haze put together an incredible first period with 5 goals.

The game slowed down from that point as the Haze let up on the opposition.

This is effort by the boy in Purple as the come down the homes stretch. With 1 game left in the regular season we ,just keep up the incredible effort and especially the teamwork as we head into the playoffs.

We wont be the favorite and I chose us to upset when playoffs hit.

Next Sunday the Haze square up against the Killers Bees in the season finally. Hopefully they can pull this win off and head into the playoffs with a full head of steam.

I got a real kick out of this t-shirt. I saw it as an advertisement on a website.

I just made all of memories of this past Giants season. It was such an intense roller coaster ride. My emotions and feeling about the Giants were at all time lows when they started off the season at 0-2. I was cursing Manning even during mid season. Even making the bold statement of " I will never give Eli the benefit of the doubt". He was an absolute superstar to end off this season and will be a historic Quarterback. He really bitch slapped the shit out of all the fans and critics who wnated nothing to do with him, including my self.

I really can not wait until next season. Should be real interesting.

OMG! There's So much Blood!!!!

The smallest cut in the world cause such excessive bleeding?!?

So this morning I nicked, the bottom of my nose this wound bled as if I has a huge gash worthy of at least 25 stitches. It took me a total of two and a half hours to stop the bleeding.

In my attempt to stop the bleed, about an hour and a half in, I tried the old Google search. Plenty of interesting suggestions, everything from Eye drops to Chap Stick on the wound. After those two failed, I made my way to CVS, with a wad toilet paper infested wiht blood.

So after scouring the aisles of CVS i decided to purchase a product by barman or something that was intended to cease the bleeding immediately. Also I picked up some liquid bandages and hydrogen peroxide.

$11.50 later I arrived home ready to go to war. First I started off with "Nick be Gone, followed instructions properly and it didn't even phase me. My next step was the hydrogen peroxide. I soaked a Q Tip in the peroxide and then went to work.

Ahhhhh. finally the bleeding slowed down. Slapped some liquid bad-aid on it and sealed the deal.

I have been trying to sell these rims on Craigslist for about a week now. They are 19 inch Foose Speedsters, with Toyo Proxes tires. Brand new these rims and tires will run you at least $1,700. So with me asking only $750 for all four you figure I would have no problem selling them. Wrong!

All I have received is bullshit. From the emails to the phone calls. A complete waste of time. Everyone wants to just call me up and see how much of my time they can waste away. Some of these questions are answered on the listing itself. But some people can not take the time out and actually process what they have just read.

This has been such a frustrating process, even more so because potential buyers want to call me up and try and negotiate on the price. What the fuck? You haven't even made an effort to come and actually see them. Would it make sense if I was buying a car that I saw on the internet to call up and negotiate the price even prior to even seeing it. Why would you tyr and negoiate on something you have never seen before. So annoying!!!

Colin Munroe did a great Remix to Kanye West's single, Flashing Lights. I' am absolutely in love with this remix. The lyrics and meaning behind the song are real deep and it puts a real good twist on the song

The remix is about not making it big, being outshined by others, and basically having nothing at all when you really just want everything. i can assume that we have all felt that. We all put in such an extended effort into so many tasks that we do daily and we just want to be recognized for our actions.

The video is super cool. I really enjoyed the whole form in which it was shot from the point of view to the fighting scenes.

I'm going to be keeping my eye out for some more work by Colin Munroe.

So recently in an interview Kanye spoke about his outrageous Grammy outfit. Of course the question on my mind was what the hell is up with those sneakers.

Anyway, Lupe performed on Leno the other night.

Lupe performed Paris, Tokyo with a live band. Sounded absolutely amazing. One of my favorite tracks off of "The Cool", which is his newest album that I can't get enough of. The thing that really appeals to me about this performance is the different flow he spits with the live band. The song on the album is real relaxing and soothing. It comes off to me as a dream that I feel like I will never love. Just a careless ,laid back theme over the track. More often than not when begin performed live and especially with a live behind the vibe for certain songs gets sacrificed. Not here. Although the lyrics and vibe is the same the overall song is rather different, aside from the lyrics.

White Supra NS Trinity

Wow. Supra keeps on dropping some real heat starting with the Gold Sky Tops most of his kicks have been straight heat.

Just when you think that they can't do it again, you get bitch slapped by these. These are the Supra NS Trinity is an all white colorway. I can't pin point what makes these kicks so dope. It could be the cracked leather? Maybe the Crock Skin? Straps? Or could it be that we have not seen such a classy high top sneaker. I think that it is everything thrown into one.

I usually stay far away form products out side of Nike/Jordan. But these will have to be something that I get my hands on. Retail is $210 and I think it is well spent. With the Spring and Summer around the corner these kicks will be perfect for laying back lampin' on a clear summer evening.

A combination of two of the hottest model Nikes, the Safari Color way and the Air Force 1. With 2007 being the 25th anniversary of the Air Force One we saw a ton of Air Force 1 releases. But by far this exceeds all of them. Easily the hottest release of 2008 and I love it a lot more then what we saw in 2007. Also in my opinion i think these exceeds anything Nike has done with the Safari colorway from the Air Max line.

This Air Force 1 has every feature on the original Nike Air Safari colorway. On the tongue tab, it features Nike Air Safari in an orange font which is also dope.

I so glad to see this colorway back, an absolute most cop for me. Love at first sight. Thank you Nike, it's about time.

Jay and Nas Album Rumors

According to Daily News columnist Rush and Molly, who are practically undefeated when it comes to Hip Hop rumors, Jay- Z and Nas have be preparing for their anticipated collaboration album. As you can see just by my blog I' am a huge fan of collabo's weather it is in fashion, art, toys or music. Two heads are always better than one. And two MC's that will lyrically murder your tops MC's together on one album should be a swell combination.

Although the title fits these two so well, it is just way to cliche for me ...."The Kings of Hip Hop", I can only hope that is not the actual name of the album. Even if ti is, I will by it and Im sure it won't disappoint.

Made the trip to Newark yesterday for Islanders at Devils. Unfortunately the Islanders win streak was put to a hault at the game I attended, figures.

Anyhow, an excellent facility. I really believe that they did a great job on the construction and the atmosphere during the game was real intense. I saw a ton of Blue and Orange in the crowd which was assuring. One of my favorite aspects of "The Rock" was the size of the hallways. in between periods navigating the halls was not a a hassle.

Considering it is in my nature to pick out all of the negative things that I noticed, I will now begin my nit pick. The biggest one was the bathrooms. To enter through the bathrooms there was two entrances. This was causing much confusion at the urinals with people entering from two different angles you spent half of your time in the lavatories deciding who was next up to bat. Now after you finished doing what you had to do, I looked down to notice no automatic flushers? That seems odd.

My next bog flaw of "The Rock" was the "Beers Of Newark" stand. About a 20 minuet wait on line to get up to the register and realize only one type of beer on tap and no Bud Light. Not only were they serving the beers in cups but the process went something like this:

Me: "I'll take two Coronas and a bag of Peanuts"

Underpaid Worker: "Not a problem"

My Thoughts: Actually this is going to be a problem because I have noticed you actually have to sit here and pop the top to each of these beers and actually pour it into a cup. This will take some time, you have to wait for all the foam to go down and the 3rd period is about to start.

Now this process took a total of about 5 minuets, for just 2 Beers and a bag of peanuts.

Underpaid Worker:: "That Will Be $25 Dollars"

As I sulk.

Overall the facility was far better then it was worse. I just felt like the cheaped out on a few things at the arena like the Bathrooms Flushers, like the only 3 taps of beer that no one has ever heard of at Beers of Newark. Also i noticed things like poorly designed signs for sections and other things that probably no one else takes into consideration.

Crooks & Castles x Diamond Supply Co.

Two of the biggest companies in streetwear have hooked up for a real dope collaboration. Crooks & Castles hooked up with Diamond Supply Co., which by the way is one of a favorite brands, to put together this grey zip up hoodie. The high quality hoodies has the Crook's famous Medusa on the left side of the hoodie and Diamond logo on the right. The back of the hoodie features a unique collaborative logo with the phrase "The World Is Yours"printed over it. Only 200 will be availible to the general public, 50 will be availble for online sale an the other 150 distributed to Crooks and Diamond flagship stores.

I'm really feeling this collaboration. I just hate the fact the fact that dope pieces of clothes like this are so limited. Id love to get my hands on his piece.

Bape x Spongebob

In the past we have seen Spongebob Bapestas. Who would have predicted this collaboration on anything, ever. It is still ahrd to believe that Nigo commissioned a Nickelodeon series for some Bape collaboration.

Now next up is the collaboration between he two in the form of a plush toy. The toy is available in the Bape Store and also at Cliffs Edge. The toy features Bape Baby milo sitting on top of the Nickelodeon character.

All is interesting to me. Sort of cool in a weird way. certainly not something I would ever own. But I can appreciate the creativity.

The ultimate combination of muscle and import!

The LS2 is a staple of American Muscle. This motor became so famous from being added to the Corvette, GTO and CTS-V among a few other General Motor vehicles. The Ls2 makes about 400hp.

The Nissan 350-Z is an elite vehicle on the import scene. We have seen many modifications made to the Z but this by far has to be the most appealing to me.

The Ls2 features and aluminum block so this motor does not add any type of serious weight to the car, if anything it probably save some weight.

What could be next for a ride like this? I would love to see this thing Boosted, it coudl easily reach over 500 hp. Also I would love to see how a car would perform is this motor was dropped into a car with an AWD system.

Dessert on a budget? Two apple pies from McDonald's on $1.00. What a deal. Warm Apple Pie seems to always hit the spot at anytime of day. Where the fuck is that spot anyway, damn it feels swell.

But you know what another way to make this sweet deal even sweeter? Add a hot fudge sundae. Combine these two in any way that you can, just make sure they are both in your mouth at the same time. Wow that sounds explicit.

Anyway the combo of the warm savory apple pie and the cold sundae is amazing.

Now folks, you are going to have to splurge a little more by going out and spending another 100 pennies. But it is well worth it.

Been a huge fan ever since I laid eyes on the 'You Ain't No Hustler' T Shirt. They have strayed away from the typical streetwear while most companies provide flashy designs and stand out colors. Might Healthy has some real nice simple stuff. As that continues for their spring line, which recently was shown off at the Magic Trade show out in Vegas.

Very clean cut pieces like some patterned polos and crewnecks along with T shirts and Fitted, yay. Can't wait these to drop.

The 'Live From New York' will be a sure cop.

Sighs of disappointment, after I feel as if I wasted 2 minutes and 47 seconds of my life.

The anticipation for this video was so big for me.

The song is so ill.Am I just interpreting this song the wrong way and this video is amazing. I dont think so.

This is the first time 'Ye has ever let me down.

I really don't know what to say. My only hopes are that this is some kind of publicity stunt to make himself look like a genius. The original photo from the video appeared on 'Ye's blog with a picture of a woman walking down a cobblestone street like setting. This was not seen in the video.

I can only hope for more.

Grammy's last night. 50th Year anniversary for the Grammy's. Some real good tributes and performances.

Alicia Keys killed it as expected, especially with the addition of John Mayer, who I believe is hands down the best Guitarist of our generation. Beyonce and Tina Turner was pretty good but Tina looked absolutely horrible. It seemed as if it was struggle for her to move he mouth, what a shame that that is how she had to resort to some kind of self satisfaction and more importantly some approval from society.

But on to my own reason for posting this blog, none other then Kanye himself. He always steals the show to me.

I have said in the past that his performance are real creative. He brings os much passion to his music and performance that it literally gives me goosebumps. His performance was off of the wall. Outfit was insane. It isn't something I would wear out in public but it still was dope. Also, the Hey Mama performance was real touching. Make you wanna pick up the phone and let your mom know how much you appreciate everything she has done for you. Some folks take there parents for granted way too much.

It looks like is in a 60's movie that depicts the future. You know how they were always way off on how advanced we would be. Big props to Daft Punk they killed it as well and there outfits were straight fire as well.

It seems to me that the Grammy's just tries to get a rise out of Ye when it comes to accepting awards. I mean come on, you know Kanye always wants to speak what is on his mind so why would you begin to play the music when he is in the middle of his speech. Mad disrespectful. Especially since he was going to begin speaking about his late mother.

Anyhow, Ye handled it well and didn't pull any type of stunts when he didn't win album of the year.

On a closing note. Damn, Amy Whinehouse looks like hell.

The video for Kanye West's "Flashing Lights"s video is finished. Kanye posted this picture on his blog. Unfortunately though, the video will have to wait until this week to be debuted. Ye promised BET that they can have this debut and he is hold true to his promise. Hopefully we will only have to wait until tomorrow.

Fans should certainly look forward to this video. Im unsure who was the director but with Kanye's creativity Im sure that it will be great. This single off of Graduation is probably one of my favorite track off of the whole album.

Sometimes I find it difficult to listen to albums straight through. Too frequently the radio will out play an song and when I listen to it Im just so tired of hearing it that I just skip over to the next track.

I don't care how many times I have heard "Bulls on Parade" or "People of The Sun" or any song on this Rage Against the Machine album. I will never get tired of hearing this album. It is flawless. Everything works well on this album. The lyrics, Zach De La Rocha's vocal, Tom Morello's guitar riffs, everything that this album is made of is perfect and fits so well together.

The movement that Rage recieved through this album was tremendous. They had a cult esque following.

I can't find the words to describe the feeling of this album but it certainly an album that belongs in everyones album collection.

Today the Mets formally introduced there newest addition to there squad, Johan Santana. He has been an absolute beast through out his career. In his 7 years in the MLB he has pitches 251 Games. In those games he has recorded 93 wins and only 44 losses while also recording and astonishing 1,381 strike outs.

Santana is going to be exactly what the Mets have been looking for. I was scared when they got rid of Miledge and did not use him as a token to get some kind of pitcher. After trading up a handful of prospects the Mets have really made out well on this deal. Of course ti will cost us a lot but hopefully he can live up to his expectations and help the squad avoid another historic late season collapse, as I shed tears.

The Mets rotation will consist of: Santana, Pedro, Maine, Perez, El Duque, and Pelfrey

Pending all of these guys stay healthy and live up to expectations the Mets will have the best rotation in the NL East, also becoming the favorites to win the Division.

Between the Santana signing and New York Giants I don't know how much sports glory I can be blessed with.

Just a few weeks until Pitchers and Catchers.I' am really looking forward to this up coming season.

Ghostface just released the video for his song 'We Celebrate' off of his recently released album, Big Doe Rehab. Real happy about this video, this song is easily one of my favorites off of the album. It is one of the best feel good joint I have heard in a while, the type of song that makes you wanna 'party and bullshit'. but then zoom back down to reality, where the hell is the time to do that. At least I can accomplish that feeling by hearing this song and now watching the video.

The Giants definitely need to adopt this song for there recent win, and plus it would be a good look for Ghost. It's a shame that he doesn't get the props that he deserves when he has released classic Hip Hop albums in the past with 'Fishscale' and 'Supreme Clientele'. This album was not to shabby either and has earned it way into my recent weekly rotation of music.

New Tri-Tone Bape Sta

Very Few, and by very few I mean enough to count on 1 hand with with and amputated finger, Bape Stas have ever caught my interest. The patent leather and obnoxious colors have always made me throw up in my mouth. I never fell into all the hype surrounding them either, which was not my attempt to act as if I was in some kind of protest. For the most part, I have always enjoyed subtle colorways on my kicks and every so often I will throw on a pair of Air Maxes or somehting Non Jordan that might stand out but its very rare.

I must give Nigo a nice golf clap for this spring release. All four of these sneakers are not screaming out at you and are extremely presentable. The Tri color idea really appeals to me because I would rather match my clothing than look like I just came out of a circus wearing 15 different colors, which is one of the reason why I never messed with any Bape Stas in the past. Thank god that they did not use any type of patent leather on these, it would have completely ruined the shoes to me. I have seen way too much patent leather within the past 2 years than I can handle. Plus if they would have added patent to this it would have completely took away from the subtleness of these sneakers.

Giant Upset

It seems as if every sportscaster across the Nation chose the Patriots to win over the Giants, I think not. Tom Brady recently laughed at the fact that Plaxico Burress predicted that the Pats' would only score 17 points, jokes on you Tom.

The anticipation for this game had been building within me for weeks now and I felt extremely confident for my favorite team. When the two teams met in the last week of the NFL season 5 weeks go the Giants gave the Pats' a real run for there money, so I knew the could hang with the "Big Boys".

As the game progressed I was worried, the Giants defense was making huge stops and the offense couldn't turn those opportunities into crucial points. You have to understand that when you stop a team like the Patriots, you must take advantage of it.

The game became so intense in the fourth quarter as Eli was able to take his offense to go ahead 10-7, with a David Tyree touchdown. Things heated up as the Patriots took possession and put together a 5 minuet drive to but the Patriots back ahead 14-10.

To me, what people where about to witness was Eli Mannings introduction to greatness. It took ELi 12 plays and 2 minuets and 7 seconds to bring the Giants into the end-zone with a catch by Plaxico Buress to put the Giants up 17 to 14. In my opinion, the play that stood out the most was the play where Eli was about to be wrapped up and sacked for a loss but was able to escape and throw a bullet to David Tyree where Tyree made a miraculous catch for an important Giants first down. Leaving the Pats with 35 seconds left the Giants defense was able to put a hault to the game by absolutely demolishing the Patriots offense, including a huge sack on Tom Brand...oh it felt so good.

After the game I was speechless I didn't know how to react or what to do. The sweetest part about it though is ruining a perfect season and making Bill Belichick look like a fool.

I can not wait to see the 2009 GT-R on the road. There has been so much hype behind the automobile and all I can hope is that it lives up to all of the expectations. I mean come on Twin-Turbo 3.8 Liter V6 that makes 480 horsepower...that is so ridiculous! I could never handle that kind of power.

An All Wheel Drive Train is essential to a car with this much power. Too many people on the road already don't know how to drive I could just imagine what this world would be like with folks driving around a close to 500 horsepower front or rear wheel drive. They would be driving sideways down the road.

With the hype up of this car had cause rumors saying that there could be a $60,000 mark up on this car. I could see people dripping this kind of cash on this car especially with how hot it looks but how well it will perform.

Diving Into The Wreck Analysis

I was never a huge fan of poems of much literature in general, but this poem I actually enjoyed. Interpretations in the past have always frustrated me but this was a good poem to interpret.

I believe that Rich's referral to the ship was not about an actual ship more about life in general, particularly the past. All of the damage that Rich speaks about in this poem is about the problems and troubles we have had in our past. The symbolism of a a wrecked ship certainly in my eyes refers to the past because you do not really see any type of huge shipwrecks in this day and age.

What i also find interesting about this poem is located on line 74, Rich states "I am she: I am he". The thing I enjoy most about this line is the fact that it shows the readers that you are not the only one who has had some problems in the past. It is almost comforting that you see that there are people out there that are just like you.

Overall I enjoyed the poem and I believe it will work as a segway as I become more interested in the poems and literature I shall interpret in the future.

Kanye West, N.E.R.D. , Lupe Fiasco and Rihanna...wow. Not much of a Rhianna fan but she has had some dope singles of her most recent album, note to self: Purchase her album. Most people do not understand what kind of powerhouse lineup this is for a tour. Kanye and Rihanna and the two biggest stars in my opinion.

I have seen Kanye 5 times already and every time he delivers a superb performance. If you had any doubt in your mind about this mans passion for his music, go to one of his shows and watch him light the stage up. I don't know if I just have a biased opinion because he is one of my favorite artist but I think the fact that I have seen him a few times makes him one of my favorite artist. I have gained so much more respect for him and his work after seeing him the first time. Even though he had already earned so much with his lyricism and creativity.

I have never seen N.E.R.D. nor Lupe Fiasco. I consider my self a huge Lupe Fiasco fan, and also feel that he does not get the props that he deserves. His latest album, "The Cool", was flawless. If you do not own it and want to here a real emcee in a time where REAL emcees are so scare go out and cop "The Cool". The album was a complete breath of fresh air..finally there really are some artist out there who are still down to earth and aren't manufactured. N.E.R.D's funky yet creative style definitely grabs my attention and incises me to want to see them live more.

If you think for any second I will let this concert pass me by, pending it hits New York because dates have not been released yet, you are crazy. I wish I had the funds to fly my self out to Chicago and see the tour hit the mid-west, with West and Fiasco both being form "Chi-Town".

Mind State of a Gangster From The 40's

Everything about Jay-Z's American Gangster album was genius to me, form the lyrics to the marketing the to beats. Even though it is not the intro off of the album album, it was still a great choice to open up the album with this being the actual track.

This video of Jay preforming "Pray" live was just recently released. Personally I have never been to a Jay-Z concert, the thought brings tears to my eyes because I pout Jay in my top 2 emcees of all time...it's either him or BIG, but this video provides an excellent representation of what Jay is about. You can see his passion for the industry within his performance of this song. That same passion is the reason why I have become such a huge fan of his.

This song explains the ideas, thoughts , and experiences Jay has had in the past between his family life, growing up , life as a drug dealer.

Well, I was never too much of a supporter of any type of Jordan brand "pack". i always felt as if it just had fed into the hype of the sneakerhead culture. It has almost become the IN thing to do, which is far from the reason I got into collecting sneakers, but that will be for another blog entry.

Although I must admit the packages released have all contained sneakers I would love to add to my collection, like both the XI's and VI's from the Defining Moments Package and certainly the Shadow X's and XIII's that were included int he recently released Countdown Package, I have never been able to break down and support the whole package idea. It just was never my thing, back when I wanted sneakers that I could not afford they weren't released in packs. You got one pair of a Jays released each year...that's it! No god damn retros.....as I go to vent!!

Any how most sneakerheads were convinced that they were going to seeing a pair of Infrared VI's in the next installment of the countdown package....they were wrong. Sneakerhead across the world rejoice at the fact that Jordan will be releasing the covted Carmine VI's in the next package.

In the past the only way to get your hands on a pair was to drop some major cash on eBay and scoop up a pair that was most likely unwearable due to its age...I mean Hey the original Carmines were released in November of 1991 so chances are any pair you find is not is superb condition.

Although I'm not a real fan of the XVII's, which will be released with the Carmines , I might have to break down on my Package strike just to be able to get a pair of Carmines on my feet.

Five Dollar Shake

Just watch Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" for about the trillionth time last night. It seems to me that every time I see the movie I enjoy it that much more. It took me about 3 or 4 views before I completely understood what the movie was all about and exactly how everything was played out, if it were to be filmed in a traditional manor.

One of my favorite parts about this movie is the relationship that Mia Wallace, played by Uma Thurman, and Vincent Vega, played by John Travolta. Vincent is asked by his boss, Marsellus Wallace to take out his wife, Mia. This becomes a major concern for Vincent prior to their "date".Vince asks questions to various people about Mia and her history with Marsellus and other people. Before going by to pick up Mia, Vincent stops by Lance's house, a drug dealer, to pick up some high grade heroine. Before leaving to pick Mrs. Mia Wallace up Vince decides to shoot up. For the date Mia orders Vince take her to a 50's themed restaurant, Jack Rabbit Slims. While in the restaurant the partake in a twist contest and take home the trophy for first place. While back at the house. after Jack Rabbit Slims, Vince is in the bathroom and Mia discovers the heroine that Vince had purchased from Lance earlier. Mia, under the thought that it is cocaine, begins to snort the heroine and then overdoses. Vince finds he unconscious on the floor and immediately rushes her to Lances house where they give Mia an adrenaline shot straight to the heart, which brings her back at the pierce of her skin. Vince brings her back to her home where he questions Mia about telling Marsellus and she vows not to tell him either because she would be in just as much trouble as he would be in.

It seems to be that Vincent and Mia were both worried about Marsellus finding out about what they had done. If Marsellus's reaction to their actions was so great, then why couldn't the both just keep it clean for the night. I guess it just comes to show that so many of us do not consider the repercussions of out actions until we have already had to consider facing them

Its funny how text messaging has stepped on the scene within the last few years and has just began to completely dominate societies form of communication. I don't know the last time I sent out a handwritten letter to someone but I can tell you that I have sent out at least five text messages within the last hour. In class today Prof. Kinsley had stressed to us the fact that we should not call her and simply just send a text instead. I couldn't agree more with the idea of "just send me a text". People argue and say "Well if you want to talk to someone just call them?" there are many answers to that question....maybe I do not want to speak to that person. maybe I want to skip the small talk b.s., maybe Im in the middle of class and I can't call you but I really have to tell you something. There are too many reasons why I would prefer to send a text message to some as opposed to just calling them. But the biggest reason by far has to be the simplicity. I went out last year and purchased a new cell phone with a full slide out keyboard so that along with the connivence of send text messages I could now fire them off at warp speed.
